We offer non-clinician subscription patrons access to specially curated materials on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. For clinicians, we have an expanded access community with access to practical professional development resources. For professionals who have completed our 12 week practicum, we have sustaining member-level memberships which include 1 hour of monthly clinical consultation.

Option 1: Online Practicum– Currently we are offering 12 weekly or monthly modules of ketamine-assisted therapy & support online. With local medical collaboration, you'll have 12 experiences with ketamine, and 12 experiences sitting with another person working with ketamine, 12 didactic lectures, 12 peer integration sessions, and 12 sessions of individual clinical supervision.

Option 2: Host a Clinical Fellow– We come to YOUR practice to consult with you and your staff on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and support from a cognitive behavioral therapy perspective, offering a secular, yet culturally-sensitive infrastructure to your community's rollout of psychedelic medicines. With local medical collaboration, you'll have 12 experiences with ketamine, and 12 experiences sitting with another person working with ketamine, 12 didactic lectures, 12 peer integration sessions, and 12 sessions of individual clinical supervision. ($7200 plus living & travel expenses)

Non-Licensed Practitioner Track

You don't have to be a licensed mental health provider to support someone in applying psychedelic medicine to a mental health practice. A license is a minimum level of standards to practice a healthcare profession.

We require SMART Recovery volunteer facilitator training for those who are not licensed mental health providers or licensed medical clinicians. This allows more community mental health and substance abuse resources beyond working with a licensed therapist. Community resources take over where the client leaves off in treatment. SMART Recovery is a cognitive behavioral therapy approach to substance dependency provided in community meeting settings and online, and uses many similar tools introduced in psychotherapy.

Survey of Massachusetts peer recovery coaches’ attitudes toward the use of psychedelics to treat substance use disorders - Addiction Science & Clinical Practice

Background There has been a growing interest in the use of psychedelics for therapeutic purposes. However, there is a lack of research on peer recovery coaches’ attitudes toward the use of psychedelics for SUD treatment. Therefore, we conducted a survey of peer recovery coaches in Massachusetts to gain insight into their attitudes toward the use of psychedelics to treat SUDs. Methods Peer recovery coaches in Massachusetts were invited to participate in an online survey between August and October 2023. The survey collected respondents’ demographics, socioeconomic characteristics, personal substance use history, opinions on psychedelics for addiction treatment, and spiritual experiences. Results 146 individuals completed the survey. The mean age was 48.7 years (SD 11.2), 61% identified as female, 74% were employed as peer recovery coaches, and 43% were Certified Addiction Recovery Coaches (CARC). 70.7% reported utilizing 12-step programs, and 76% reported having a personal history of using psychedelics. The majority of participants agreed that they would feel comfortable being a coach for someone using psychedelics to treat SUDs. However, a significant number of participants expressed concerns. Those who had utilized 12-steps were more likely to express concerns about the dangers of using psychedelics to treat SUD. Conversely, participants with a personal history of psychedelic use were more likely to support the use of psychedelics for the treatment of SUDs. Conclusions While peer recovery coaches express support for using psychedelics to treat SUD, they also voice concerns about the potential risks.
