Non-medicine Psychedelic Experiences
Psychedelic literally means "soul-opening" or "mind-manifesting", and is an experience that is brought about with various medicines (including ketamine) and non-medicine practices.
We research and help train practitioners to employ modern techniques in experiential therapies to help clients turn an interesting experience into a transformative one using interventions that, when paired with a relaxed mindset and safe, intentional setting, can be self-administered at home. Experience as catalyst to getting different parts of your brain connecting and talking to itself in new ways.
Experiential therapy is a therapeutic technique that uses expressive tools and activities, such as role-playing or acting, props, arts and crafts, light, sound, music, animal care, guided imagery, or various forms of recreation to re-enact and re-experience emotional situations from past and recent relationships. - Psychology Today

If you have a history of light sensitivity or seizures, we may refer you to your medical provider first. We also work with WavePaths to offer Music as Medicine.
Our approach
Wavepaths is founded on the fundamental insight that our ways of being in this world, our ways of relating to ourselves and others, is continuously shaped by life's experiences.
It is therefore through collaborating with the Masters of Experience – musicians, artists, architects, psychotherapists, and designers – that we can facilitate "Experience as Medicine" – new personally meaningful experiences and encourage positive personal change.
Led by design and grounded in scientific research, Wavepaths facilitates Experience as Medicine, made widely accessible through a new category Spaces and digital applications, for individuals and care-providers.
We also use WavePaths with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions, and follow a similar protocol of preparing for a session, an experiential session with the therapist, and an integration session within the next few days to more fully integrate the experience into some lived improvement in mental well-being.
